"What's done is done" -> câu nói khi không thể thay đổi được tình thế; 'cái gì đã qua, cho qua'.
Regrettable as it is, what's done is done. Your shunned (xa lánh) sister says she wouldn't attend your daughter's wedding if she were invited at this late date. Your daughter and her fiance (hôn phu) issued those invitations without your input, and now they will suffer the consequences.
“What’s done is done, you have to solve (giải quyết) it and move on to the next day.” Truth be told the car ride on the way home after the races should be a celebrated given the risks taken daily to put food on the table.
While every Cubs fan surely has thousands of thoughts about what is occurring (xảy ra) within the team right now, what’s done is done. The organization has turned the page and are entering a new chapter without so many fan favorites.
Do we have what it takes (có khả năng) to say we’re sorry to people mistreated, misused, abused by our people in times past, but not easily forgotten? When we say, “What’s done is done,” who are we fooling?
